Sick... And "bonded"? Hogwash and poppycock!

As you can see from the title, I am sick. I'm down with a cold and whenever I speak, I sound as if I am pinching my nose.

I went to see the doctor today, and to my surprise, there was a lot of people at the clinic. Ha ha... Perhaps they ate too much New Year goodies. In the end, I ended up waiting for at least one hour before it was my turn. The good thing was that my father was there to "suffer" with me. I know I am evil, but that's the way I work. I mean, who likes to be stuck alone waiting for an hour? Even though my father and I didn't speak more than ten sentences, it was still nice to have someone I know with me.

Anyway, I have seen my class blog and since no one from there is going to read this, I think it is stupid to have a blog (a class one I mean). For one thing, majority of the people in my class do not even know each other so why bother to act all bonded? And personally, I don't see the point with all the "bonded" crap. Why can't all of us be an individual instead of one whole swarm of people pretended to be one? I hate bonding with the class. It means pretending to be all chummy with someone whom you don't even know. It means plastering a fake smile on your face and trying to make conversations with a mere acquaintance (the kind in which you just have a "hi and bye" relationship with). It also means feeling awkward with each other as when you are face to face, you have absolutely nothing to talk about. Nil, nada, nothing.

Okay, I am done ranting for the day, so I guess I shall stop blogging now. Bye!

Haircut...

As you can see from the title, I got a haircut today. My hair is pretty short now (just brushing my shoulders in fact) but it is still enough for me to tie up. I love the 10 minutes cut at Parkway. The hairdressers are friendly, and they always follow the instructions given to them (unlike the ones in Junction 8).

The hairdresser commented on my hair and said that it was in very good condition. Naturally, I felt pleased, but can't help thinking whether did she say that to all her female customers. But still, maybe washing my hair three times yesterday helped in making my hair look good today. I know what you are thinking and don't look at me that way. I am not vain, and I got a valid reason for washing my hair thrice yesterday. I shall now say my story. Everything was as per normal yesterday, and I went for my bath as usual. Something of mine fell beside the toilet bowl and I bent down to get it. As the toilet brush was hanging next to the toilet bowl, well, guess what happened.

Yes... When I stood up, my hair got caught in the toilet brush. How disgusting is that? I darned near retched out everything I had eaten that week and the week before. I promptly freed my hair, and I washed it thrice. With lots of shampoo. Lots and lots of shampoo. And I still felt that my hair was dirty. My hair smelt as if I had left it marinating in Feather shampoo for a week when I stepped out of the shower. Urgh... That incident will forever be imprinted in my mind.

Anyway, congratulations to Sheila, Hui Ting, Kai Ting, and Ying Jie for winning the calligraphy competition, and don't be sad Vivian. Next year, you and I are going to win the competition as well. Last but not least, HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR to all my friends and family (excluding my younger sister who had just pissed me off by installing a programme to type chinese words in the computer as the programme keeps on popping out when I want to type english words and it refuses to go away no matter how nicely I ask it to).

Secondary Three Life...

I can sum up secondary three life for you in just one word, "Pressurizing". We have more homework as compared to sec two and I have less time to read nowadays. In short, sec three life sucks and being in a class with one very good that is almost but not quite best friend, one good friend, and a few acquaintances is not really my cup of tea either.

My teachers are alright I suppose. However, I hate my chinese teacher as he gives us loads of homework every week and tell us that compared to other classes, we are receiving far less homework. What a blatant outright lie! It's so obvious that statement is not true. Still, it's not as if I was a great fan of chinese in the first place. I think I scored highest in class for English too. At least I got a B3 last year. When my teacher was asking us about our grades, he said that he would pick the person with the highest grade to be the english rep. Being lazy, I didn't care and did not bother to raise my hand, hence a girl who got B4 got the post instead. However, I am not sure whether are there people who scored higher than me, but I can safely say that I shall aim to top the class in english for this year and the next. As for chinese, I would be content with a B.

I shall stop blogging now and start to watch videos instead, so bye...

Back to School...

Today is the first day of my sec 3 life. I reached school at 6.45am, 15minutes earlier than usual as my father has to fetch my younger sister to school as well. I waited till 7 before Vivian came. It was so nice to see her again after the holidays. A while later, Wei Qi and Sheila came. We went to find our classrooms together, and I accompanied Sheila and Vivian to their class 3 Harmony while they accompanied me to my class, 3 Modesty, which was on the level above. I was in the same class as Brenice, one of my good friend, while my other friends were all happily located together in 3HM. I brought so many books to school today, following the timetable, and in the end, we didn't even use a single one of them... I felt so pissed off. I had lugged my heavy school bag all the way to school for nothing. My teachers are alright I guess, but I have not met some of them yet. Hopefully, they will be able to teach well and will not be too fierce. Lessons will officially start on Monday which I am not looking forward to, and I hope that my math teacher does not find out that we in fact do have holiday homework for math.
