Nothing in particular...

Sigh... I feel so bored... I'm dying from the lack of books to read... Arghhhhhhh.... I guess I'm the one who brought my own death upon myself as I could not resist the temptation, and finished all four library books in one day. I truely regret my reckless act which had rendered me book-less for the rest of the holidays. My new book, "The town that forgot how to breathe" is boring me to tears. There is hardly any climax and the whole storyline probably resembles this, "__________" a boring, straight line graph... I'M BORED!!!!! GIVE ME SOMETHING TO DO FOR GOD'S SAKE!!! Grrrr... Out of sheer boredom, let me give you an inventory of the books I have in no particular order...

By Cornelia Funke: Dragon Rider, The Thief Lord, Inkheart, Inkspell (Yeah, you are right, they are a trilogy, only the third book isn't out yet)

By Angie Sage: (these are a series, the "Septimus Heap Series" to be more precise) Magyk, Flyte, Physik, Queste (I think there more coming out, but I'm not sure... And no, I did not make any typing mistakes, nor is my brain scrambled)

By James Patterson: Maximum Ride Series: The Angel Experiment, School's Out Forever, Saving the World and Other Extreme Sports, The Final Warning (more are coming out soon too! I think...)

By Philip Pullman: Northern Lights (I only have this book, but I read the whole series thanks to the CCHMS library)

By Robert Jordan: The Wheel Of Time: Book 1, 2, and 3... (I'm too lazy to type out the name)

By E. Nesbit: The Five Children and It, The Phoenix and the Carpet, and The Amulet (yep, they are one whole series)

By C. S. Lewis: The Magician's Nephew, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (I've read the whole series too, thanks to my cousin...)

By Lewis Carrol: Alice in Wonderland, Through the Looking-Glass (one series)

By Darren Shan: Cirque Du Freak (Iread till book 9, but book 10,11, and 12 are nowhere to be found in the library)

By Trudi Canavan (I hope I spelt it correctly): The Novice, The High Lord ( and yes, I read the first book in the library before)

By Gordon & Williams: Tunnels, Deeper (the third book is not out yet)

And many, many more... I'm not even half way through yet. I will type more about what books do I have when I have more time, like ten hours or something due to the amount of books I have, but more of the fact that I'm a slow typer. I took at least three hours to type my first blog entry, and futhermore, that is with the help of my elder sister typing for me half of the it.

I shall post some pictures now, please sit back, relax and enjoy...

Some pictures of the fried rice Sheila and I cooked for home econs test... Where is it now? Yummy, yummy in my tummy!!! Hahaha...

The clouds look real nice on that day...

Hee... My relatives' pet dog. Looks cute right? Like a little ball of fur!

Arghhhhh!!! My faulty cellphone died on me!!! NOOOOOOOO........... I can't show of pictures of my beatiful school then. Haha... Just kidding! It's my own fault anyway, for burning the battery of my cellphone through charging it for a few days overnight. There was a faint burnt smell in the air on that fateful day, and my cellphone was way HOT!!! Now the battery of my cellphone is bloated and it is hard to stuff the cover of the phone over the battery. Oh! Woe unto me!!!

I think I've got enough of wallowing in self-pity now... So, ciao!

Girl's day out on Teacher's Day

I went out with Sheila, Hui Ting and Chanel on Friday. It was pretty fun, but I cannot reveal the place we went, out of fear lest my parents find out. Let's call the place "x" for the time being.

First, we went walking aimlessly around, and x was kind of empty and deserted due to the fact that it was only 10.50 in the morning no less, and most of the shops aren't even open. x was like a ghost town minus some ghosts and plus more people and modern day shops. Then Sheila started to eat her bread, and the delicious fragrance of it wafted towards us poor starving souls without even a crust to eat, and made us all ravenous. I wasn't hungry at all in the beginning, but then the fragrance was strong enough to weaken even the strongest resolve not feel hungry till 12 noon at least. We dropped by Toys "R" Us before the four of us started to wander around looking for a place to eat. We all argued for a short while about what type of food we wanted to eat (something cheap), where we wanted to eat (not in restaurants) and we ended up choosing to eat fast-food as we naturally, as students, do not have much money on us. We found a board thingy that says where all the food are found at, but we still got lost in the end.

Chanel was the one who saved the day, as she found McDonald's, KFC and Burger King all somewhere out there. As it was a Friday, Chanel could not eat meat (but she could eat fish) due to religious issues, so Burger King was out. We then walked into McDonald's to check out the price, and we found that the food in KFC was much cheaper, so we went to KFC to eat. I ate Shrooms burger meal, Sheila and Hui Ting both ate Zinger, while Chanel ate what we originally thought was an innocent O.R fish fillet burger, until halfway through our meal when she commented how chicken-like the burger tasted. I leaned over and took a look and said that the fillet looked very chicken-like as well. Hui Ting then asked Chanel what she ordered, and Chanel said that she told the auntie that she wanted an O.R burger meal. Hui Ting promptly let drop a bomb shell by telling us that there were BOTH O.R fish fillet burger and chicken burger. Now, you would expect Chanel to get all panicky or something, but all she did was to look pissed and said that if she knew that she was going to eat chicken, she would have ordered a chicken burger instead. We all laughed at that and upon finishing our meal, we placed all our rubbish onto one tray and floated the tiny dishes (we were meant to put chili sauce in it and we did meant to put chili sauce in, or else we would never have taken them and contribute to global warming in the first place, only that we were unable to find the chili sauce and we were too lazy to start a game of Hunt-the-chili) in our half finished drinks. Hui Ting was very considerate and emptied all of the rubbish into the bin, and just my luck, some drops of water splattered onto my hand. I didn't know whether the water was clean or not, and for safety, we all washed our hands. It must be my unlucky day, for when I was drying my hand under the hand dryer, something small, black, not to mention disgusting flew out (along with the hot air I suppose) and landed on my hand. At first, I didn't know what it was, and upon closer inspection, I realized it was a COCKROACH. I immediately flicked it off my hand and it landed in Sheila's basin. I pointed the cockroach out to her, and we spent a delightful few seconds washing the cockroach down the drain amid a swirl of dirty water.

After the cockroach episode, the four of us went to the loo, expect for Hui Ting and we took some pictures of the fishes in the aquariums outside. I then dragged them to the Harris book fair thingy, and there was a 25% discount. I thought I had died and gone to Heaven... We spent some time there, and I had a hard time choosing between James Patterson's 4th of July or Honeymoon. I chose the latter, but Chanel had unearthed another book entitled "The Town That Forgot How to Breathe" by Kenneth J. Harvey and I bought that instead. It's not bad, but I felt as if I was drowning in a sea of confusion when I was reading the first few chapters, and it is a bit too long winded. It was around 12.50 I think, when Sheila, Hui Ting and I decided to go to the movies to watch WALL-E. So we went to buy tickets after wandering around to find the cinema, and the auntie who was serving us didn't offer us student rates for the tickets even though we were wearing school uniforms and cheated us out of the $2 discount. I mean, for God's sake! Isn't it obvious we are students??? Grrrrr... I paid that extra 2 bucks out of the $10 that was meant for my hair-cut. We sent Chanel home (to the escalator actually) as she got to reach home by 3, gave her some rather fuzzy directs about where the exit is before sending her off. The three of us then went to the loo (again) then to the cinema. We argued (again) about whether should we buy snacks or not, wasted a few minutes of our time, and ended up buying nothing... We went into the cinema (Hall 3 to be more precise) early so that we don't have to fumble in the dark to look for our seats, and guess what? the movie started early, and the lights went off as soon as we entered. So, we ended up fumbling in the dark for our seats, which are way back in the cinema, back, back, back, all the way back actually and sat down on row N, seats 1, 2, and 3 respectively. I sat at seat 2, wedged between Sheila and Hui Ting, and there was a grand total of 10-11 people in the cinema, excluding me and my friends, so no one dared to even sneeze, as the silence in the cinema is such that you are able to hear a pin drop if the movie wasn't playing. The movie was good (I'm glad Disney is picking up, I love Disney shows, bar The Incredibles and Finding Nemo, as I practically grew up on them) and I recommend it to everyone. I especially like the part when all the fatties are sliding to the side when the space-ship tilted, and when all the fatties clapped as if they saw Moses parting the Red Sea when they saw the captain of the space-ship, who was also a fatty, take just one step with his fat, pudgy legs that resembles pig trotters. EVA, WALL-E's girlfriend was also funny. When she first landed on Earth, she practically blasted everything in sight that moved or make a sound. I also liked the small clean-up robot who hated anything, to even contain one speck of foreign particle, which is to say, dirt. After the movie, when everyone was practically frozen to death by the air-conditioning, we all broke out of our icy enclosure (why did they make it so cold anyway? We aren't polar bears) and began to find the way to the exit after going to the loo (again). On our first journey to the exit, lead by me, we found a way that leads to nowhere, and we had to find our way back into x. On our second try, we found Harris, the book shop, and we dropped in to ogle at the books (hooray!) and ridiculously marked prices of the book in there (boo hoo...). We then continued on our expedition, found the exit and made our way to the bus stop. We then took our own respective buses back home.

My sis (younger one of course) is nagging at me to "Get on with it!" so I got to stop blogging now. I realized that all my post are ultra-long too. I must stop this annoying habit of spewing out all the details of the things that happened to me, including how many trips to the toilet were made and et cetera. In all, I wasted two bucks on this outing and I got to pay it out of my own pocket, which is a mar on my otherwise perfect outing.

How on earth do I tweak the time shown below each post?

Hey, I realized that my blog is nuts. It can't even show the correct time! ARGHHHHHHHH....... HOW ON EARTH AM I SUPPOSE TO CHANGE IT?????? (For your information, I am definitely not blogging at 4am in the morning...)

Hooray!!! I finally figured out how to attach the Cbox!!!!

I feel so happy! I finally managed to place Cbox on my blog!!! After so many hours (it was more of half an hour to tell the truth) of slaving away in front of the computer, staring at the HTML thingy so hard till my eyes are actually burning, I finally done it!!! Me, the great CSI (Computer Super Idiot), had actually manage to do it!!!!! Ahhhhh!!!!! I can go mad with glee!

I'm feeling very high today as you can see... Hee... I feel so HAPPY!!!!! I don't know why, but I suspect it's due to the Biology and Geography results... I personally feel that I did pretty well for them. I did suspect that there was a mistake in my bio paper initially, but it turned out, there wasn't a single error in the marking. I must be real... ahem... horny to be able to score so well in the areas of sexual reproduction. I usually score only around 62% or so for other topics in bio, and suddenly, out of the blue, a 96.7% pops out. It was really unexpected. I thought I was seeing things and I got 66.7% instead of 90+...

For geo, I scored a 22/25... Not bad, but it could have been better if I revised it properly instead of falling asleep half-way through revision, which is my habit whenever I revise on my bed... But still, thanks to revising during breakfast time, and probably recess time, I managed to score pretty good marks. Any way, I just receive a telephone call from my primary school friend, Yan Ting. She wants to know whether am I going back to Kong Hwa tomorrow. Well, I still have not decided yet, as my fate lies in the hands of my father. If he give consents to let me go out with Sheila, then I shall not visit my primary school and vice-versa... I think I shall stop blogging now, (personally, I find it rather a chore) I got to do work now, so adieu!

quiz that chanel tagged me to do...

Felt bored... So I decided to do the quiz that Chanel tagged me to do...

1. The first person who tagged this/passed this to you is?
Chanel, since no one knows my blog exist except for me, myself, and I... well, Sheila and Wei qi knows I think, but they don't know the address... Muahahaha....

2. Your relationship with him or her?
Purely friends. If I'm a lesbian, either Sheila or Vivian can have the honour of being my girlfriend, but I think they are neither interested or even looking for that kind of relationship, even with me...

3. Your first impression of him of her?
Don't remember... I'm a quiet girl, and don't really socialise at the first few weeks of school. Haha.... Next question...

4. The most memorable thing he or she had done for you?
Dunno... Can't remember...
5. The most memorable thing he or she said to you?
Ummm... Saying "Chin Yee!" in an appalled yet shock way when I get too horny or too detailed in my description in gruesome things like the toilet in Kota Tinggi...

6.If he or she becomes your lover, you will?
I will what??? Oh, Iknow! Demand an engagement ring with a diamond as big as a chocolate chip, and a marriage ring with a diamond the size of a doorknob... If she agrees to be my lover then wife of course, but the chance of that happening is NIL... She is not a lesbian...

7. If he or she becomes your lover, thing he or she has to improve on will be?
Nothing... We are definitely NOT going to be lovers... I'm perfectly happy with our friendship right now, thank you...

8. If he or she becomes your enemy, you will?
Die... She will probably sue me for cause emotional hurt and many other things and I would go bankrupt, become a beggar as likely not, live on the streets, slowly starve to death, the crows (as Singapore does not have vultures, except in the Jurong Bird Park, and no ravens either) shall peck out my eyes, guts and gibbets till nothing is left of me but a bunch of bones, gleaming pearly white as they have been picked clean by the horrible, dirty, and not to mention germy and greedy beaks of the crows... Oh woe unto me... But I'm sure Chanel is nowhere as cruel and unfeelingless as that... We will just must probably go our own ways and ignore each other till we are lying stone-cold in our graves or urns where our ashes are stored...

9. If he or she becomes your enemy, the reason will be?
What's up with the obsession with enemy? Did the whole world turned against the creator of this quiz??? The reason will most probably be that I insulted one of her poems unwittingly when I am in a bad mood, and due to my ill luck, that particular poem will probably be her masterpiece... That's not going to happen anyway... I'm no expert at poems so all poems are good to be so long they have meaning....

10. What do you desire to do for him or her?
Nothing... I'm sure she doesn't require the help of a great, bumbling fool/oaf who can't tell her thumb from her big toe...

11. Your overall impression of him of her is?
(Why is this quiz so freaking long? I'm going to become a hunch-back from bending my back to do typing and go blind in the bargain for staring at the screen for hours...) My overall impression of her is that she is smart, and my rival in english comprehension. My compositions are no match for hers...

12. How do you think the people around you feel about you?
I'm no mindreader, but I will make a guess... They most probably feel that I'm quiet in class, horny, funny or amusing when with friends, a bookworm, and (I hope,) a good friend...

13. What do you like about yourself?
The speed at which I read books... Pardon me for boasting a bit here, but I practically devour the books and spit them out the next day to be returned to the library. So next time, if you find a library book all coated in spittle, you'll know that book has been borrowed once by me... Haha, just joking...

14. Au contraire, the other characteristics that you hate about yourself are?
I have added in a bit of french into that question to save time typing, but it seems that I wasted more time instead by explaining. Let's see... I hate my big nose, my ability to only have interest in an activity for a short time, my lack of a talent, my ability to not sing well, my knack of wrecking my new glasses (a warm welcome/farewell to my glasses, I do love sending them off to the bin to be recycled with something to remember me by) and my inability to make it to top 5 in class in terms of bothe results and height, though I would be happy with the latter if I were just taller than one-third of the class.

15. The most ideal person you want to be is?
Me, myself and I. I am happy with the way I am now despite my flaws (bar the results), so I think I shall choose to be me, but with better results.

16. For people that care and like you, what would you say to them?
Thanks for sticking by me...

17. Pass this quiz to ten people whom you wish to know how they feel about you.
1. Sheila
2. Vivian
3. Wei Qi
4. Chanel
5. Wei Ting
6. Yan Ting
7. Hazel
8. Zhi Qi
9. Hui Ting
10. Yilin also known as Helen(Muahaha.. I'm evil, aren't I?)

18. Who is no.6 having a relationship with?
No one... I think...

19. Is no.9 a male or female?
No. In case you haven't notice, I'm still at the stage where i think boys are jerks and childish brats. they are even worse than rats. Nasty little vermin they are... I have made a phrase/poem concerning boys. I daresay you will find it familiar... "Ahem..."

"They had no rights,
they had no say.
The boys will be sleeping with pigs one day!"

Kind of childish, but I still like it... Hahaha... I'm evil (in an immature way, yes, I know) aren't I?

20. If no.7 and no.10 together, would it be a good thing?
Although they know each other, I know they don't fancy people of the same gender, so sorry, no go, it won't work out, nor be a good thing. For one thing, our parents shall object to that marriage no matter how big the dowry is. I don't think Hazel's parents would agree too...

21. What is no.2 studying?
Dunno... Depends on what subject we have for oncoming tests...

22. When is the last time you had a chat with no.3?
On Friday...

23. What music band does no.8 likes?
Westlife? No idea actually...

24. Does no.1 has any siblings?
Yep, one adorable little brother, who is miles apart from my permanently scowling little sister, a.k.a. Black Face Queen and Putty

25. Would you woo no.3?
I don't think she would want me even if I offered myself on a silver platter complete with an apple in my mouth... She's straight... I think I'm kind of straight though... In a flat-chested way.... Haha..

26. How about no.7?
We are not that close now...

27. Is no.4 single?
Yes... I think she has not reach the stage where anyone in a pair of shorts can interest her unless they are able to have debates with her and talk about politics...

28. What is the surname of no.5?
Tan. If anyone uses her full name to cast black magic spells or voodoo on her, I would see to it personally that you will get a lovely boiling hot spa in the depths of hell, along with the Devil himself and may God blast you! (No offence intended to Christians)

29. What is the hobby of no.10?
Doing finger and arm exercises on her beloved pipi and vivi respectively...

30. Does no.5 and 9 get along well?
They don't know each other, but I'm sure they would...

31. Where is no.2 studying at?
Same as me...

32. Say something casual about no.1?
My best friend with the same sense of humor.

33. Have you tried developing feelings for no.6?
My feelings for her are purely friendship and no other.

34. Where does no.9 live at?
Pasir Ris

35. What colour does no.4 like?
Dunno...

36. Are no.1 and 5 best friends?
They don't know each other, but no.1 has a friend that know no.5

37. Does no.1 have any pets?
A simple and flat no...

38. Is no.7 the sexiest person in the world?
She is kind of pretty as she looks kind of ang-moh, but sexy? Sorry, no...

39. what is no.6 doing now?
Online... I know for sure cause I checked...

Got to go now, bye...
