Nothing in Particular...

Out of 16 of my holiday homework, I have completed 5. And I count them this way.

1/2 complete chemistry worksheet on Atmosphere and Environment + 1/2 complete chemistry worksheet on Redox reaction = 1 completed worksheet

Lovely right? So I have loads of half completed or quarter completed worksheets rotting away on my table which was previous empty but now resembles a rubbish dump.

Now, I shall update you on recent events. Mum flew to China yesterday, so my sisters and I were left to fend for ourself in Singapore. My father is still in Singapore, but since he is going to be at work most of the time, he is negligible. No mother nagging at me for using the computer means.... My younger sister is going to do it. Sigh... No unlimited hours spent on the computer for me... And also, no mum means we have to do housework. The thing is, housework and me doesn't mix well. I am a perfectionist, and if I really get into it, I will sweep the floor like a maniac, sweeping under the cupboards, mats, shelves, school bags, etc. That's why I always take like an hour to sweep the whole house. And it's not like I am living in a bungalow. I live in a really tiny condominium unit. My sisters hate me doing housework. Because either I take it too seriously till the point that I become I nuisance, or I will be a dunce at it. Another option is that I will be in a bad mood and keep on cursing and nagging while I sweep the floor.

But mum being away is not really a bad thing. Dad's more lenient with us, so today, while we were at J8, we went to Popular to buy my school books. I asked my dad if I could buy a book, and to my utmost delight, he said yes. I was over the moon. Mum had stopped buying me books this year, and this was probably like the second or third time (somewhere around there. I know it will not be more than the fifth time) they are buying a book for me (I bought Inkdeath by the way, to complete my Cornelia Funke collection). Furthermore, when we were doing grocery shopping, my father let us buy loads of junk food. Haha... When my mum gets back, she will be greeted by fatties!!!

Happy...

Yay!!! The horrid chinese O-levels are finally over (I flunked it, so I can kiss higher chinese goodbye next year) !!! The dreadful Social Studies (SS) essay is done too!!! Hooray! Unfortunately, I left tons of holiday homework uncompleted. I left the chinese book review and oral passages. Not to mention english in which I had done absolutely nothing. Biology, A math, E math (is there even homework for it?), chemistry, physics, task 3 of SS, and geography are also left undone. I shall now start on another topic that is more cheerful.

The lastest books I had bought are:

Coraline by Neil Gaiman ($12+)
Royal Assassin by Robin Hobb (around $19)
Fool's Fate by Robin Hobb (around $19)
(I don't think I bought anymore, but I won't be surprised if I missed out a few)

I love books by Robin Hobb!!! They are brilliant and one of the best fantasy books I had ever read. Coraline was pretty good too even though I almost didn't dare to sleep because of the creepy other mother in the story with the black button eyes (literally, it isn't a phrase to describe how the eyes looked) and the nasty rats. I don't know why, but the rats kind of freak me out. But don't worry, the book isn't that creepy. If I want to really scare myself, I will go read Stephen King. All I did was to read the very first story in the book in the book Night Shift, and I didn't dare to sleep for the whole week. I also promptly returned that book to the library without reading the other stories. That was the first time I returned a book to the library without finishing it.

Okay, enough for today. Bye!!!

Exams...

The exams are finally over!!! Hooray! Unfortunately, I don't think I will score very well as all I did was last minute revision. The only subject that I have a chance of scoring an A1 in is probably elective geography. Anyway, bought three books to celebrate the end of exams, but it burnt a big hole in my pocket. It doesn't really matter though, thanks to the birthday money given to me by my aunt.

Anyway, got to go read manga now, so no more till the next time I blog. Bye!

Presents...

Today, Sheila and I gave Ying Jie her birthday present... I gave her a hand phone strap with her name on it, but as the card I made was not completed, I did not give it to her. Since there will be a calligraphy competition tomorrow anyway, I shall give it to her then. The card is currently with Sheila so that she can write things inside and decorate it too.

And last but not least, THANK YOU FOR THE EARLY BIRTHDAY PRESENT SHEILA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The earrings and bracelet are really nice! The suprise in the box was so unexpected, the note practically jumped out at me. Hee... Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! :)

Nothing much...

Felt bored, so I decided to blog. I went for the piano inter-class and it was okay, except for the fact that half-way through playing, I played a wrong note, so I said that I wanted to vomit out blood (in chinese). Brenice who was sitting next to me, heard it, and she started to laugh. I don't know why, but I started to laugh too even though it wasn't very funny and in the end, my piece was played really badly as I kept stopping to laugh. It was just as well that I only joined the inter-class for fun as I will never get into the next round.

My class had CIP last week, or the week before the last, and it was pretty fun. We brought some old folks along with us to the gallery in LTA, and I was "looking after" a granny with a hunched-back. She was alright, except for the fact that she was convinced that another older middle-aged man that came together with the old folks was a pervert as he kept hanging around the girls and talking to them. It was a pretty hilarious, but still, it would be rude to laugh, so I just humoured the granny by nodding my head.

Alright, I have updated my blog, so I shall go read my manga now. Bye!!!

Allergy...

Today, I found out what I was allergic to. It was none other than royal jelly. It was horrible. I had a terrible blocked nose, and my eyelids swelled up. I think my fingers swelled a little too. I shall never eat royal jelly again.

This morning, everything was perfectly fine and dandy. I ate my favourite cheese cake for breakfast and drank honey water with some royal jelly added into it. As mentioned in my previous posts, I have hair loss problems, so my mother made me drink that, as my father's hair loss problem improved after taking royal jelly. Instead, for me, the results were horrible. First, I had a really bad blocked nose, but I dismissed it as it was pretty normal for me to have blocked or runny noses in the morning. Later in the day, my eyelids swelled. I look frigging terrible. I looked like a Korean before plastic surgery. And to top off my new slit-eye look, my ears were very red and according to my family members, my face was a little swollen. Grrrr... I had to spend the whole day with my sisters laughing at me and calling me a Korean. How immature and childish. Being 18 and 13, they should know better.

But on a brighter note, I got to skip my piano lesson today. Unfortunately, it means I have to have double lessons next week... In all, my eyes feel strange, like I have been crying really hard for the whole day, and my blocked nose have transformed into a runny nose with a never ending stream of mucus. I must have killed a gazillion trees today by the amount of tissues I used.

All right, that's all for today... Bye!

Chinese Oral is over!!!!

Hoorray! My chinese oral is over!!!!! Haha... My bio test is over too!!! Yay!!! I don't think I did very well in both of them, but they are already over and I don't care anyhow.

Anyway, something funny happened to me. I switched on the computer and I saw this Microsoft Word document titled ",. cgjk" saved on the desktop. I assumed that it was some crappy stuff done by my younger sister, so I went to delete it. But to be on the save side, I decided to open the document to make sure. As my computer was still kind of slow as it has not started up properly, when the document was first opened, all I saw was a blank word document. Pissed, I remarked to my cousin who was behind me. "Who is that stupid idiot wh..." Then, the computer finished loading the pictures and they appeared.

No, they were not porn pictures. Instead, I found myself staring at the pictures of the fried rice I cooked last year for the Home Economic test. It was then, I realized that the stupid idiot who saved this crappy stuff in the computer was me. How embarrassing... I shall never insults idiots who save rubbishy things in the computer before I know who exactly the idiot is.

Alright, I am done blogging now, bye!
