Hooray!!! I bought Brisingr!!! And its the holidays!!! Unfortunately for me, I have not even started on my holiday homework except for the first day of holidays. I must have hit my head or something as I completed 8 weeks worth of work in a day. But then after that, I have not even laid my eyes on my homework since.
Anyway, there is a class chalet coming up and I don't think I shall be going as I am not very bonded with my class except for a few people. Furthermore, I need my father's consent in order to go, and I am not going to waste my time and grovel at his feet to obtain permission to go for the 3 days 2 nights stay. However, I may soon change my mind as it will be the last time 2HM is together.
I have nothing much to say now, and I shall not keep you away from your other duties with my mindless prattling, so I shall stop blogging now and mind my own business.

Results...
I had a horrible dream last night.
I dreamt that I got my results, and my overall percentage was only 65%. Furthermore, I also dreamt that I got into triple science plus elective history which although is listed as my second choice, is no great love of mine as I absolutely loathe history (my true love is geography). It was a horrible nightmare as we were going to get our results today. However, my fears are unfounded as when I got my report book, I realized that I had scored reasonably well as my overall percentage was 71%. Hooray!!! Now, perhaps I would get my wish and study geography next year.
Today, two of my teachers gave as snacks as rewards. Unfortunately for me, the teachers gave lots of chocolates, and due to the fact that I had a sore throat, I was unable to enjoy them (for the present at least. My throat is much better now). As school ended earlier today, I went to Parkway along with Zhi Qi as we both wanted to look for books. We first went to Popular, and as I salivate at the books (mainly Inkdeath and Brisingr. I couldn't buy them as I only had two dollars with me as I wasn't intending to go out), Zhi Qi bought Twilight and New Moon. We tried looking for Eclipse for a while, and when our efforts were proved to be futile, we left our lunch. We went to McDonald's first as I could pay for my food with my EZ-link card, however, when we set foot into it, I remembered that I had a sore throat and was not allowed to eat heaty food. Hence, we left and went to the food court instead. I borrowed two dollars from Zhi Qi and bought a bowl pork porridge. As she was not hungry, Zhi Qi didn't eat anything. I took a long time to eat my porridge (I still burnt my tongue though, despite all my efforts) and when I was done, we went to Borders together. As Zhi Qi wandered around looking for Eclipse, I oogled at the inflated prices of the books and salivate at Brisingr again (strange enough, it was cheaper than compared to Popular by two dollars). I did not bother to salivate at Inkdeath as its price was more expensive than at Popular by $9-$10 (what a rip-off!). After walking around and oogling at the books I could never afford and tinkering with the computer with Zhi Qi, we left and went home. To my surprise, it was only around twelve. I debated against waiting for my younger sister and going home together, but seeing as I had half-an-hour to kill before she is going to be released from school, I went home first.
In all, it was a good day despite the fact that I had not bought any books. But still, the holidays are here and I can buy more books and not to mention, play all day!!!!

My return to blogging
Mwahahaha... After a long break, I have finally start to blog again. I am glad to announce that the exams are long over and that I am free to do whatever I want. Yipee! I have finished with watching Card Captor Sakura, and have started on Akazukin Chacha... I swear, that sister of mine is a bad influence on me. I have changed from a pure and innocent girl (well, not that innocent I suppose) to one that is mad about manga and anime (are they the same thing? I can't tell the difference).
Anyway, I have learnt about the importance of time management. I have to juggle my time between reading manga, watching anime, reading books, blogging, eating, sleeping, etc... It is especially hard to juggle my computer time as I have only one and a half hour to read manga, watch anime, read blogs and of course, update my blog. Unfortunately for me, I take three hours to type a single blog post. Today, I chose the subject combination I wanted for next year. I do hope I get into the one I wanted, and that I will be in the same class with at least one of my good friends next year. I don't want to go through the hassle of getting to know new people. I hate socializing with strangers, it is always so awkward to talk to them, especially if you have nothing to talk about. But with my friends, we can go "Yakkity, yakkity, yak yak yak" about all things under the sun and even have an argument over how do you pronounce the name "Anne" (this started after Wei Qi read Anne of Green Gables and I started to talk to her about the book). Currently, one of my best friend, Vivian, is ill (get well soon Vivian!!!), so I have post-poned the stupid chinese recording thingy till tomorrow. I hate chinese recording. For one thing, my chinese sucks major big time, and I always sound all weird and quavering (due to fright and nervousness I suppose) when I speak into the microphone. Furthermore, sometimes you can hear me breathing in the back ground, and it is really distracting to have someone wheezing into the microphone like they are going to collapse from asthma soon or something.
Yesterday, I went back to school for nothing. The pupils in my class were supposed to go back to school to prepare for Zhong Zheng Bian Bian Bian, and like a stupid fool, I really went. In the end, it turned out that only pupils who are involved are supposed to go back. So, Wei Qi and I decided to go out to Parkway to shop for books before going home. However, it was raining, and we went to thebus stop together, debating whether should we go shopping or not while one of our shoulders were getting wet in the rain (did I neglect to mention that Wei Qi had left her umbrella at home and that we were sharing mine? Well, apparently I did miss it out...). Upon reaching the bus stop, we decided to cancel our shopping trip as it was very inconvenient due to the rain. I lent my umbrella with Wei Qi and then boarded my bus home. When I alighted at the bus stop, I messaged my sister and "ordered" her to fetch me from there with an umbrella. Aaaahhh... The advantage of have a younger sister... You can just boss them around and they will go running aroung to do your bidding. I am not cruel by the way. My elder sister does the same thing to me, like ordering me to fetch the dustbin to her, helping her to throw rubbish, fetch this, fetch that for her, the list could just go on for eternity (well, maybe not that long)...
Anyway, my computer time is almost up, so I will go blogging again (hopefully, that is), in the near or far future...

Exams are around the corner...
As you can see from the title, my exams are just around the corner, so no more blogging for me till exams are over. I've got to study really hard to be able to get into triple science or at any rate, all seventy and above except for geography which I want to get an eighty for.
I detest studying, I loathe studying, I HATE studying!!!!
I always study not two weeks, or even two days, but the night before the exams. I suppose I better buck up and start to study now, to get good grades. But I always can't focus if I study too early. I would keep thinking that there is plenty of time left, there's no need to study so early, and I will end up rolling around on my bed and building castles in the air, falling asleep halfway through, or I would start to read and listen to music and end up falling asleep. So either way, I will still end up sleeping when I plan to study way before an exam. I guess I should learn to be more focus on what I am doing. Maybe then, I would be able to plunk myself down on my study desk months before my exams and start to memorise everything like crazy for the whole duration I am there and not thinking about how the dust motes float in such interesting ways, nor thinking about how sleeping is good for health and losing weight (not that I am planning to lose weight).
Anyway, there's a Mid-Autumn Festival Performance going on outside my house and the singers can't sing. They should be called "Contributors to Noise Pollution" instead. The singers must be very lowly-paid as they are singing the Malay song "Chan Mali Chan" as "Chan Money Chan". How lovely... And some of them can't even carry a tune. There they are, the Contributors to Noise Pollution, belting out song after song across the huge canal where the bats are flying above and the rubbish floating below and I can still hear them as clear as a bell, their awfully cracked vocals straining to sing that high note or trying to hint how they want a pay rise by singing about money. Now, Chang'er is moaning on the stage, punctuating her moans with yelps. Her loving husband, Hou Yi, is stating about how Chang'er used to stay at home all day and use SK-II to wash her face. The noisy screams and yells on the playground also makes the noise level increase by a few decibels. Now, Chang'er and Hou Yi are singing together (the song is "The moon represents my heart", direct translation from chinese), and Chang'er sang out of tune and Hou Yi is singing in a monotone voice. They have finally stopped singing, but the kids have not stopped yelling. I suppose that the kids organized a yelling match. If I entered, I would get first for sure as my voice can be heard all the way across the canal if I yell real loudly, all thanks to my voice projection classes in school. Now Chang'er and Hou Yi have resumed singing and I am sorely tempted to yell out of the window to tell them to shut up, however, my voice is not strong enough to be heard over the music which is blasting at over 90 decibels (put on ear muffs everyone! Noise at 90 decibels and over can damage your hearing), and I do not want to strain my voice as my chinese oral is on Tuesday. Furthermore, I shall be nice and not deprive the old folks who are enjoying the show a few simple pleasures in life. Apparently, the yelling match is now extended to everyone present they are all are screaming at the top of their voices to welcome the lucky winner of the lucky draw (poor man, this hearing will never be the same again after this night, holes are getting drilled into his ear drums). I don't know why, but I am in a crabby mood today. Just one wrong word from you and I shall bite your head off. Really, I swear it. Nothing about that bloody performance please me. The costumes of the performances are horrible, the singers are singing so badly that a bull frog calling for his mate will sound like a nightingale singing, and the emcee's microphones are too loud.

Still left lots and lots of homework...
The homework I left...
1. Math revision paper (done till question 9 only)
2. Physic worksheet on revision for chap. 9 (done around half)
3. Physic worksheet on chap. 10 (done around one quarter)
4. Biology revision worksheets on Enzymes, Circulatory system, Digestive System (done perhaps one-eighth to one quarter and I'm unable to do it due to the fact that I lost all my Bio notes except for the ones on... ahem... sexual reproduction)
5. English Literature worksheet on Unseen Poems (done half each on the first three poems)
6. Art (it's with Chanel, so it's her responsibility now)
Currently, instead of doing my work, I'm still reading books. I've read finish Breaking Dawn, and half of the book was dedicated to Bella's agony in her difficult pregnancy. And all I can say is that Edward and Bella have a very... umm... active night life if you get my gist. Anyway, most of my holiday is spent reading books which are listed below.
1. Ingo by a Helen Dunmore or something (not bad)
2. The Tide Knot (it's the sequel to Ingo, also not bad)
3. The Last Dragon by Silvana De Mari (very funny, you should read it)
4. The Scarecrow and his Servant by Phillip Pullman (For younger children, I borrowed it in a fit of boredom, but it's funny)
5. The Teardrop Woman Story by Catherine Lim (not bad for a Singaporean writer)
6. Gallows Hill by Lois Duncan (above average)
7. Pharaoh's Daughter by Julius Lester (below average)
8. Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer(I'm in a good mood today, so I shall grade it as average
9. Things Not Seen (childish book for bored readers, it would be good if I was in Primary three)
10. Demon Thief by Darren Shan (one of my farvourites, same applies to no. 11 and 12)

Most of the books are borrowed from the library. Actually, only five books are not from the library. I miss the June holidays. I bought 21 story books and finished them in less than a week. I should open a second-hand book store or something when I grow up. I could sell all my old books and since they are in tip top condition (no creases in the spine, no folded pages, no rubbish in between pages,etc.), I could get a pretty good deal.
Anyway, there's a mountain of homework awaiting for me so I shall not deny them the pleasure of me scribbling (in my horrible wormy handwriting) in their pristine, white, unblemished pages. I hate my teachers, I hate homework more. I wish the holidays would never end. Sadly, that won't be happening anytime soon, and I have a horrible nagging suspicion that my geography test in on Monday, the very first day of school. Sigh... Got to go now and study, study, STUDY!!!!!

Left lots and lots of homework
The holidays are almost over, and I still left loads of homework undone. I am leaving them for the joyful moment on Sunday night when I can start to finally focus on doing my work as they are due on Monday instead of rolling around on my bed and re-reading library books again.
I went for CCA yesterday and it went pretty well. Sheila and I went to school at 8.00 and 8.45 in the morning respectively even though CCA starts at ten to do our Bio homework. We managed to do a few questions and went to CCA ten minutes late on purpose and as usual due to the fact that the thought of writing chinese characters with a brush on a sheet of paper for 2 hours does not exactly fills our heart with glee or joy. After CCA, Sheila and I went down to the Art Room to do art. I didn't intend to do art actually, I just wanted to go there to collect the human figure from my group mates, which unfortunately consist of four boys and thankfully, one girl, but Chanel did not come as I think she had something on. However, the boys are still doing touch-up on the painting of the dummy, and they had painted it in an awful (ahem, please pardon my language) shitty colour that is the shade of coffee with a dash of milk and a whole lot of purple paint. They also painted the dummy's face and the dummy now looked like the African people who wear clothes made out of grass and throw javelins to get their meals by impaling the animals on them (as aptly described by one of the group members). And to my utmost horror, the boys had requested for hair of mustard yellow with streaks of dark indigo. I made the "wig" (out of wool) for the dummy (we are going to paste it on the head of the dummy later) and I shall throw it away. Unfortunately, due to the skin colour of the dummy, it is only suited for black hair (or more accurately wool) and I have wool of the shade of flaming orange, pale yellow, light blue, and pinkish white, but no black. I only have got black thread and it is going to kill me to make a wig out of it. Naturally, I'm a lazy person, and just the thought of the time needed to make it is enough to give me convulsions for fifty years.
I shall now move on to a topic of greater importance. It is with great sadness that I announce the news that my cover of doing work is blown. Darn it! My father had taken a closer look at what I was doing, thinking that I was so hardworking, and found out that I was blogging. He used to thought that so long much typing is required, it would be homework, not fun and entertainment (although I'm not sure whether does blogging falls under either category). Oh well, it doesn't matter though. I was intending to do my math quiz anyway. Now, I shall present to you my homework list, updated of course.

We managed to do a few questions and went to CCA ten minutes late on purpose and as usual due to the fact that the thought of writing chinese characters with a brush on a sheet of paper for 2 hours does not exactly fills our heart with glee or joy. After CCA, Sheila and I went down to the Art Room to do art. I didn't intend to do art actually, I just wanted to go there to collect the human figure from my group mates, which unfortunately consist of four boys and thankfully, one girl, but Chanel did not come as I think she had something on. However, the boys are still doing touch-up on the painting of the dummy, and they had painted it in an awful (ahem, please pardon my language) shitty colour that is the shade of coffee with a dash of milk and a whole lot of purple paint. They also painted the dummy's face and the dummy now looked like the African people who wear clothes made out of grass and throw javelins to get their meals by impaling the animals on them (as aptly described by one of the group members). And to my utmost horror, the boys had requested for hair of mustard yellow with streaks of dark indigo. I made the "wig" (out of wool) for the dummy (we are going to paste it on the head of the dummy later) and I shall throw it away. Unfortunately, due to the skin colour of the dummy, it is only suited for black hair (or more accurately wool) and I have wool of the shade of flaming orange, pale yellow, light blue, and pinkish white, but no black. I only have got black thread and it is going to kill me to make a wig out of it. Naturally, I'm a lazy person, and just the thought of the time needed to make it is enough to give me convulsions for fifty years.
I shall now move on to a topic of greater importance. It is with great sadness that I announce the news that my cover of doing work is blown. Darn it! My father had taken a closer look at what I was doing, thinking that I was so hardworking, and found out that I was blogging. He used to thought that so long much typing is required, it would be homework, not fun and entertainment (although I'm not sure whether does blogging falls under either category). Oh well, it doesn't matter though. I was intending to do my math quiz anyway. Now, I shall present to you my homework list, updated of course.
1. Math revision paper (done till question 9 only)
2. Physic worksheet on revision for chap. 9 (done around half)
3. Physic worksheet on chap. 10 (done around one quarter)
4. Biology revision worksheets on Enzymes, Circulatory system, Digestive System (done perhaps one-eighth to one quarter)
5. Chemistry revision worksheet on Changes in Matter (half-way through)
6. Chemistry revision worksheet on Indicators, Acids and Alkalis (half-way through)
7. Chemistry revision worksheet on Atoms, Ions and Molecules, Balancing Equations (half-way through)
8. Chemistry revision worksheet on Particulate Theory of Matter (half-way through)
9. English Literature worksheet on Unseen Poems (done half each on the first two poems)
10. And a whole load of Math online quizzes which are mostly done (except one which I intend to do now)
11. Art (left the "hair problem" and the clothes)

Something I forgot to add just now
I got a hair-cut. I think I look nicer with short hair. It makes me look younger, not like I am old to begin with anyway. It makes me look more childish. Maybe I should cut it off during the December holidays. Hahaha... This is a very random post. You don't have to point it out to me, because I know it too. I also did all my math online quizzes but one. Yipee! But I still left lots of holiday homework.
